Rota, I know you are smarter than the average bear. Why even attempt to compete against rule breakers? But if I KNEW they had the same constraints as me, game on. So make sure someone is always on to guard our L16. Now I want to retaliate but guess what? I can't. "Yeah, we just capped JP's L14 while he was offline, sweet!!" And the only way to do that is by forcing everyone to be fair with such a rule. So if I am going to compete with other players I want them to be just as vulnerable as me. Why would I own one today when I know that the majority of players account share? Why would I when I know that players who sleep less than me have a huge advantage? It just puts me in a position where I am one of the few honest players trying to hold an HC that is being constantly hit by rule breakers. And if I KNEW that everyone was playing by the rules then I WOULD own a HC that could be captured. Go brainstorm and find one of them.Actually Rota, it would hurt me just as much since it would apply to all players, not just HC owners. There's got to be at least a dozen fair ideas out there. You have said before that it is the ONLY solution, when you know that's not true. You are better than that JP, drop the idea, and come up with a new one. The "forced lockout" idea is a plan that benefits one kind of player, JP. I think you are having a very hard time putting the shoe on the other foot. A player who will NEVER have a city at risk for capture. A player who never plans to own a HC, and plays on a colonize-only server. The idea to lock people out of their account for hours to force them to be vulnerable to losing their cities sounds like an idea from someone who has no cities to capture. It won't help anything, but it'll be fairer than your suggestion. If you want to go with this, as far as I'm concerned 10s should be lowered as well, let everything be lowered. I guess the evidence is against me, according to your recent statements, I'm a bot. I need to hit 5s to keep me going, are you going to say I'm a bot because I farm something other than B10s? I also login direct to the server, and when trying to create an account on a server I got the state full error 5 times and so got stuck at the CAPTCHA. I think she needs to get over her place of high player of her server and try a new server again, then she'll see just how bad her idea is.įor the record, man cannot survive on B10 alone, as someone who doesn't have 1billion food player cities around me that I can find every other day, I can't build archers with my instant whatever heroes. To the topic at hand, which has been lost here.Īs always, Melri's narrow-sightedness and lack of understanding of anyone else's style of gameplay shines through. I thought I'd read through the rest of the thread before I commented here, bad idea. With rules like a 6 hour window cheaters will only gain very limited advantage compared to being able to bot/account share/etc. But do the rules create a fair environment? Yes, because they equalize. Are they "fair" for everyone? No, of course not. But it is also a protector because if a criminal shows up they can only do limited damage by withdrawing a limited amount. For those who have lots of money it is a inconvinience at times. Customers can only withdraw a few hundred at a time frm the ATM. Or having players who only sleep in 2 hour intervals have an advantage in the game because they don't sleep like normal people.Īnd to the Fonz, yes, it "hurts" the honest players as much as the cheaters. JDM, you know what is even more annoying? Watching account sharers login so a city is defended 24x7. Makes even less sense than the original proposal.and that didn't start out with much, considering it hurts honest players as much or more than botters. Yeah, the whole "you must step away from the game" thing just doesn't make sense.
